THE WEEKEND: May 20-21

Get organized first thing on Saturday as the Moon sextiles problem-solver Pluto at 8:04 am PDT. Slow down as Luna then squares impatient Mars at 9:28 am Saturday morning. The best hours of the day follow until the Moon makes a square to grumpy Saturn at 8:39 pm Saturday night. Luna turns Void of Course a minute later. simple plans work best when the Moon is V/C.

Sunday’s Skywatch is upbeat. The Moon enters eager Aries at 3:11 am PDT early Sunday morning, ending the V/C cycle from last night. The only exact event is a gentle and positive sextile between the Sun and Moon at 4:12 am. Clear skies follow for the rest of the day and night. As times change.

Sweet. Just don’t go overboard in any way on Friday.

Venus lines up opposite generous Jupiter at 7:12 am PDT this morning. The two benefices will usually bring us something positive, but you’ve got to know your limitations.

The Moon is in dreamy Pisces sailing through calm waters until she meets “space captain” Neptune in the heavens at 10:51 pm Friday evening.

It’s a great time for a sweet bedtime story and also inspires creative work and thinking.

Start early…the Skywatch is very good for handling priority calls and business Thursday morning. Luna in friendly Aquarius sextiles both sign rulers, Saturn and Uranus at 2:06 pm PDT.

Pull back a bit as the Sun and Moon form a challenging square at 5:33 pm. Luna then turns Void of Course until she enters Pisces at 8:52 pm. The main event follows as Saturn and Uranus blend energies in a trine at 11:19 pm. This marker first appeared in the heavens last December and will appear again in the Skywatch in November. And again, this is a good evening to meet new friends and to join in group activities—both ruled by Uranus.

This is a good period of time to make changes in your life and career and to buy or deal with computers and high tech stuff. Inventions that appear now could be revolutionary and valuable—Uranus rules all.

This is an exceptionally fine aspect to see in the heavens for all Aquarians as these planets are your rulers. And for all of us, in every birth chart, Aquarius rules a house or section of your chart that will get an extra kick of positive energy from this trine—planets in Aquarius, too, will get a boost.

My husband and I live in Fort Worth and are planning to travel to stay with friends outside Nashville and view the solar eclipse this August. Our friends live pretty much directly under the center path of the shadow. Other than our birth charts and the overall effects of the eclipse, is there any significance, astrologically, to physically being under the shadow?

What if my North Node is at 29 degrees Aquarius in the very beginning of the 10th house? Thank you!

Right on, Lance. You just can’t make this stuff up. Thanks, again. Part of Fortune is also in Aquarius, end of 8th house/9th. A lot of manifesting going on right now with what you describe.

Saddle up. The Skywatch today is stellar for handling priority calls and business—and for dealing with difficult people or situations.

The Moon in friendly Aquarius sextiles adaptable Venus at 11:09 am PDT encouraging agreement and compromises for most folks. Even better, Luna trines generous Jupiter at 2:16 pm this afternoon creating an excellent moment for a sales call or to see your lawyer, both ruled by Jupiter.

You won’t get the kids to bed early tonight as the Moon trines tireless Mars at 10:38 pm. You might stay up later than usual tonight, too.

It’s 7 a.m. EDT, and the difficult business people are already on the warpath! I knew you would know that, Lance!

I’m trying to finalize plans for a move and I’m wondering if I need to wait until Merc clears its shadow (5/22 I believe). I’m already fairly confident in the decision I am going to make, and its been underway for several weeks now, but I just wasn’t sure if at this point the shadow was a big deal. Ultimately the issue is about informing my roommate of my plans (so, communication, hence the concern about Merc). As always, thanks for all you do, I couldn’t start my day without Skywatch !

More distractions. There’s a big kiss, a big trine between Saturn and Uranus, hanging out in the heavens now that encourages progress and new solutions that work around your home or office.

But there’s static today, too, as the Moon squares undependable Uranus at 3:22 am PDT. Plus the Moon turns Void of Course a minute later until she enters Aquarius at 10:50 am.

Double-check the details as the Moon then squares trickster Mercury at 11:55 am. The hours that follow are much better for important calls and meetings as the Skywatch clears and remains clear for the rest of the day and night.

Keep your focus on the big picture this week.

A major kiss, one of the big ones, is powering up this week and will be exact on Thursday when conservative Saturn trines liberal Uranus.

One gift from this pair is putting a new twist on an old idea. It also signals a very good time to put changes (Uranus) into motion for all of us, and especially Aquarians, as these are your ruling planets.

There’s static in the heavens this morning as the Moon squares Jupiter at 3:11 am PDT. Luna’s next connection is a conjunction with inflexible Pluto at 1:23 pm. The hours that follow are the best for important calls and business as the Skywatch clears completely a few minutes later for the rest of the day and night.

As times change.
