Better days are ahead.

In the midst of this Retrograde misery, we have some excellent days ahead for priority matters in your life, and there is a big kiss appearing in the Skywatch next Sunday: Jupiter trine Neptune.

This trine encourages you to follow your dream and adds a spiritual and creative tone to our lives if we choose to listen.

Green lights are up on Monday as the Moon in efficient Virgo sails out into calm waters. Retrograde Mars backed up into earthy Capricorn yesterday, and he makes a trine to the Moon in earth sign Virgo at 9:37 pm PDT Monday night. Luna then turns Void of Course until she enters gentle Libra a 9:57 pm.

A fresh blast of energy accompanies the Moon changing signs. Clear skies follow.

THE WEEKEND: August 11-12

Stick to routine on Saturday.  We have a New Moon and Solar Eclipse in Leo turning exact at 2:58 am PDT early Saturday morning.  New Moons always bring good times to plant a seed and to initiate new plans, but wait for another day to take action as Luna turns Void of Course a minute later until she enters practical Virgo at 8:59 pm Saturday night.  Stay up later, and you’ll enjoy the Moon making trines to friendly Uranus and dependable Saturn by 1:51 am in Sunday’s early hours.

Green lights are up on Sunday for work or play.  The Moon in child-at-heart Leo sails out into calm seas Sunday morning.  The only exact markers in the Skywatch show up Sunday night when the Moon sextiles optimistic Jupiter at 9:09 pm.  Bedtime will be calling you next as the Moon opposes sleepy Neptune at 10:26 pm.  As times change.

Double-check the details.

Errors and communication problems are always more likely when Mercury is Retrograde and especially today when Mercury squares the king of b.s., Jupiter, exact at 11:32 pm PDT Friday evening.

Morning hours thus are the best for important calls and business.  Caution lights are up Friday night as the Moon gets involved by making a square to Jupiter at 8:46 pm and then meeting Mercury Rx at 8:54 pm. Don’t believe all you hear Friday night as promises and offers may not be true or real.

Grouchy and unfocused.

Six planets are now appearing to back up in the heavens.  The most difficult members of this group are Mercury and Mars—two planets who rule the personal side of our lives and who bring delays and communication problems into matters at hand.

Adding to this strange and off-center Skywatch the Moon turns Void of Course at 4:20 am PDT early this morning and remains V/C until she enters proud Leo at 9:18 pm Thursday night!  In this window of time sweet Venus squares grouchy and often selfish Saturn at 6:34 pm.

Tempers could flare as the Moon then opposes angry Mars at 10:12 pm.  Add it up, and this is a day and night to stick to routine and to stay out of the line of fire.

Green lights. We’ve got a positive line-up of aspects in the Skywatch today.

The Moon in home sign Cancer sails out into quiet waters this morning urging you to trust your gut reactions in important matters.

Meanwhile, the Sun meets Retrograde Mercury at 7:06 pm PDT increasing the flow of ideas and communications.

A splendid Water Grand Trine fills evening skies as the Moon trines lucky Jupiter at 8:43 pm and then trines psychic and creative Neptune at 10:43 pm.  This alignment suggests an excellent night for introductions, all social plans and sharing emotions and deep feelings with those you love.

It’s new to me too. Just came across the transom of web info. Apparently it is a cosmic phenomenon where there is an alignment on 08/08/2018. As in, there is an opening in the universe where one can channel energy?

Tuesday, August 7

Things are slowing down in the Skywatch.  We began the month with Pluto, Neptune, Saturn, Mars, and Mercury all Retrograde, or appearing to be backing up on the bases.

Today Uranus also begins to Retrograde which ups the number of Rx planets to six.  Matters tend to get complicated and often delay during these Rx cycles.

The rest of Tuesday’s Skywatch is good if a bit unfocused.  The Moon turns Void of Course early this morning and remains V/C until she enters Cancer at 9:01 pm PDT Tuesday night.  In this window of time, sweet Venus makes a trine to assertive Mars Rx at 5:33 pm.

This trine can be hot pants in high places or an urge to splurge and buy something unnecessary but beautiful or high status.  This pair also helps you meet new people with high energy and tends to make new connections profitable and comfortable, so this is a good day to network.

Just hold off on finalizing matters while the Moon is V/C.  The peace from the trine may end this evening as the Moon squares Venus at 11:09 pm.  Or it could be the cookie jar is empty.
