Monday, November 11

We’ve got good energy in the Skywatch for Veteran’s Day.

The Sun meets Retrograde Mercury in the heavens at 7:22 am PST, which is a helpful pair to bring back good memories and stories of heroes of the past. The Moon in peaceful Taurus sails out into calm waters this morning.  Green lights are up.

Evening hours are blessed as the Moon sextiles devoted and empathetic Neptune at 10:12 pm followed by Luna making a comforting trine to the ruler of time, Saturn, at 10:44 pm.  A Full Moon perches above all tonight – share this light of love and thankfulness to our veterans.

As times change.

My baby sister, Tita Mahoney, who has tirelessly devoted her life to honoring and supporting Veterans, is undergoing back surgery in Denver, CO, tomorrow morning, 11/11. It’s the fifth surgery in her relatively young and chronically painful life, and she chose it in good luck for her cause. Super glad the stars are in her favor, wishing great good healing; peace and ease of suffering to All, as we remember our Vets, and sending love on this National day of respect.

Following up on my earlier post, in
true Mercury retrograde fashion, my almost put under the knife sister asked a question, and it turned out the wrong hardware had been ordered for her spinal surgery. Three hours later, when the correct implant arrived, my baby sister ended up insisting that she be awake for the entire procedure. The anesthesiologist was a female Army vet, and took very good care of her. She is in recovery, and also in great spirits, feeling that a serious health bullet was dodged. <3

THE WEEKEND: November 9-10

Get organized Saturday morning, and you’ll profit from the Moon making a square to disciplined Saturn at 11:55 am PST.  The best hours of the day follow as Retrograde Mercury makes a sextile to astute Pluto at 6:13 pm.  A challenging Moon Pluto square, exact at 9:37 pm, could put a hole in the peace of your evening plans.  However, astrological skies clear a few minutes later.

Caution lights are up on Sunday.  The Moon trines happy-go-lucky Jupiter at 6:00 am PST but then turns Void of Course until she enters earthy Taurus at 3:18 pm.  Hold off on making important decisions and purchases while the Moon is V/C, and Mercury Rx add an unfocused note to your awareness and thinking.  A bolt out of the blue shows up Sunday night when the Moon meets unpredictable and rebellious Uranus in the heavens at 11:10 pm.  As times change.

Friday, November 8

This is a day of Grace.  That means the Astrological weather today is stellar and excellent for high priority calls, meetings, and business.

The Moon enters fired up Aries at 3:49 am and sails out into calm seas.  The Sun sets the stage this morning by making a sextile to Saturn, and a trine to Neptune at 9:57 am PST.

A powerful and helpful Saturn sextile to Neptune follows at 6:51 pm.  This pair joins the practical with the ideal and sets up a good day to take advantage of new opportunities and to put your work and thinking on the table.

A sweet Moon Venus trine at 10:15 pm is a lovely nightcap to your plans Friday night.

As times change.

Thursday, November 7

Jump in. Green lights are up this morning.

The Moon in creative Pisces sextiles analyst Pluto at 9:32 am PST and travels on to trine Mercury Retrograde at 2:52 pm, which could easily be some matter or person from the past reappearing in your life - a common occurrence during Rx cycles.

Caution lights kick on when the Moon squares opinionated Jupiter at 5:13 pm then turns Void of Course until tomorrow morning.  Keep it simple and safe Thursday night with V/C Moon and the Rx cycle, adding a load of fog to evening skies.

As times change.

Wednesday, November 6

Some hope is in the air this week.   We have a big-time sextile between realistic Saturn and idealistic Neptune forming and exact on Friday.

Sextiles bring times of opportunity and positive energy - good times to take action.  Of course, you have to double-check the details this week with Mercury Rx.  But this sextile opens the door to positive conditions and developments this week.

And green lights are up on Wednesday to make some progress in whatever you plan as the Skywatch is clear and easygoing Wednesday morning.  The Moon in psychic Pisces links up with the Sun in a welcome trine at 8:25 pm PST this evening.

The Moon then translates the big sextile by making a sextile to Saturn and conjunction to dreamy Neptune at 11:38 pm.  Likely you’ll be ready for the sack around this moment.

Your astrology was spot on, unfortunately, here in Katy, TX. Everything that could go wrong went wrong. Went out to do some errands; and, ambulances were all over the place. I am having the worst Mercury retrograde I have ever had including a bad fall on Monday. Mercury is my ruling planet.

I second that. I filed a complaint against a government agency, in the country where I live, on Monday evening. What with Mercury Rx, three documents failed to upload, so I completed my complaint within minutes of the square being exact on Tuesday. Then yesterday, I learned that the same government agency had come forward to an activist organization (that I have no links with), admitting wronging more than 100 others in a very similar way. Yes, Mars in the sign of justice and fairness squarely up against Pluto in the sign of government – I won’t touch that remote control for a while…

Tuesday, November 5

A very strange election day.  A potentially violent and challenging Mars Pluto square loads the heavens with difficult energy on Tuesday.  Confusion of some kind is likely Tuesday morning as the Moon squares Mercury Rx at 6:37 am PST.

Luna then turns Void of Course until she enters Pisces at 3:08 pm.  Errors and problems with voting machines are more likely in this time period.  And the outcome of the election may take longer than usual to determine.

The only positive marker in the Skywatch appears at 11:43 pm when the Moon sextiles eccentric Uranus.  I’ve got no predictions on the election.  I will vote and just hope for the best.

As times change.

horrible shooting in Mexico last night…right around the square…
you’ll see this square pop up several times in the Skywatch next year…and some of them will be with Mars Retrograde….which makes it even more dangerous. Mercury Rx is still around…be careful in traffic today.
