Tuesday, January 14

A little fog and then green lights. The Moon opposes dreamy Neptune at 9:28 am PST but then sails out into calm seas for the rest of the morning and afternoon.

Evening hours are filled with good earth energy as the moon in Virgo trines Saturn, Pluto, and the Sun, all in Capricorn by 10:41 pm.

This is a good night for budget discussions and tackling difficult projects.

Caution lights. Luna opposes Venus at 5:42 am PST and then turns Void of Course until she enters Virgo at 6:06 am.

The Sun conjuncts Saturn and Pluto at 7:16 am PST this morning. This is a grouchy group — stay out of the line of fire and wait for a pleasant Moon Uranus trine at 10:29 am to tackle anything important this morning.

An anger-charged Moon Mars square follows at 6:00 pm, but there is an optimistic and generous Moon Jupiter trine at 10:07 pm to lift your spirits Monday night.

Sunday, January 12

Sunday’s Skywatch is the worst of the year. Mercury conjuncts Saturn and Pluto early Sunday morning. The conjunction of these two heavies appears at 8:22 am PST and you are not likely to see smiles at the breakfast table. This pair is an influence that began to show up in our lives in late December and will continue to be a depressing element in the Skywatch for another month, at least. Saturn demands you take responsibility for your actions. Pluto either rewards your efforts or can sink your boat if you don’t. Stick to your guns and duties now, and while this pair remains in the Skywatch. As times change.

If your birthday is this week (Jan 12–18)

The powerful and challenging Saturn Pluto conjunction dominates your new Solar Return, Capricorn. So this is a year to keep your nose to the grindstone and to stay patient and responsible in all things. Great progress can come holding fast to your mission this year, but the payoff won’t come until you get into 2021 or beyond. This promise comes from fortunate Jupiter also being in Capricorn in this chart of your new year — a more than lucky situation. You also have a nice link between Venus and Uranus in this new SR. They are joined by a sextile, an aspect that says you have opportunities this year to find more love and money IF you will step out on your talents and give yourself the chance to meet new people and possibilities. This is a good year to get a new watch (time is ruled by Capricorn) reminding you that you have come to a new time in your life and that you are equal to the moment and can make this a year of great progress. Saturday, January 11

A serious and challenging Saturn Pluto conjunction clouds up this weekend with a heavy load of angst. Get the hard stuff done on Saturday if you can, as the Skywatch is better.

The Moon enters Leo at 4:16 am PST early Saturday morning and then squares goofy and unpredictable Uranus at 8:43 am. Clear skies follow as Luna travels on to trine eager Mars at 1:54 pm Saturday afternoon.

Caution lights kick on after this moment as the powerful conjunction takes over the heavens tonight.

Friday, January 10

Showdowns are likely today.

All due to a Full Moon and powerful Lunar Eclipse in emotional Cancer, exact at 11:21 am PST that opposes Mercury at 11:33 am and then opposes Saturn and Pluto at 3:58 pm Friday afternoon.

Oppositions tend to bring challenges and opposing views to your ideas and thinking. Step lightly today. One good piece of news is that Uranus leaves his Retrograde cycle and turns back direct in motion at 5:48 pm. This suggests changes in your life and times will be easier in the days ahead.

Green lights. The Moon enters home sign Cancer at 12:43 am PST early this morning and then lines up in a friendly sextile to Uranus at 5:23 am.

Luna then sails out into calm waters until she lines up opposite over-optimistic Jupiter at 4:00 pm. No big problem with this pair and astrological skies clear quickly a few minutes later and remain clear for the rest of the day and night.

However, a Full Moon perches in the evening sky — emotions will be highly charged. And you’ll hear sirens in the city.
