A New Moon headlines the Skywatch on Sunday.

A foggy Moon-Neptune opposition at 7:49 am PDT will keep me filling my coffee cup Sunday morning.  But green lights come on a few minutes later as the New Moon in practical Virgo pulls exact at 11:01 am.   New Moons always bring the best times to plant a seed and to take action on a new project.

Positive energy in this lunation comes from the Moon making a sextile to lucky Jupiter at 1:23 pm and then a welcome trine to healing Pluto at 2:03 pm Sunday afternoon. This is an excellent time for a wedding or an adventure.

Also, it’s a good day to get a new pet as they are ruled by Virgo. Clear skies follow for the rest of the day and night. As times change.

If your birthday is this week (September 9–15)

You have an extraordinarily powerful Solar Return this year, Virgo.  The Jupiter-Pluto sextile in the heavens now lines up in harmony with your Sun in this chart of your new year.  This is a once-in-a-lifetime configuration that could bring many of you at least 15 minutes of fame, and maybe more as powerful Pluto trines your Sun and Jupiter makes a welcome sextile.  Translation: this is the year to gamble on yourself and to reach out for the brass ring and any opportunity that helps you in work or play.  If you have a book to publish, this is the year.  It’s also an especially good year for increasing your education, taking tests, traveling and settling any legal problems. Yes, yes, yes, Virgo.  Step up to the microphone and ask for what you want. You will be drawing aces in the months ahead, and I sure don’t want to be playing poker at your table.  The Force is with you, Virgo.  As times change.
