THE WEEKEND: January 6 – 7

Saturday is a day of Grace and the best day of the month to put new ideas and plans into motion. The Moon sextiles Mars and Jupiter and trines Pluto by 8:40 am PST Saturday morning—green lights are up for work or play. A big kiss follows as Mercury makes an intelligent trine to Uranus at 3:38 pm Saturday afternoon. A high-energy Mars Jupiter meeting or conjunction at 4:39 pm adds an element of luck and protection to the Skywatch on Saturday. Caution lights kick on as the Moon squares trickster Mercury at 6:51 pm and then turns Void of Course until early Sunday morning.

The Moon enters gentle Libra at 4:14 am early Sunday morning and promptly runs into a square to grumpy Saturn at 8:09 am. But that’s the only difficult marker in the Skywatch on Sunday. Clear skies follow for the rest of the day and night. Another pair of positive connections in the heavens powers up Sunday night suggesting an excellent evening for social plans and introductions. As times change.
